My robot takeover nametag: A guided meditation on the Tom’s Thumb Trail

…Then they injected her with the Tolerance again, and she reported seeing these beings. They’re called machine elves, and they’ve come up before in other studies, and they sort of sing at you and call out things from this place it seems you’ve been already.
-Yeah, and they’re blue, right? That kind of goes with this book I’ve been reading which talks about this idea that god was bored with the dominance of his own being, so he made basically a puzzle of his consciousness, I guess, and scattered it into our brains. And we’re left to put together this fragmented god experience.
-Yah, I’ve been reading so many books lately. Sometimes in one sitting. It’s like I’m so hungry for information. And I’ve actually been reading and researching astrology more since I got my Aquarius tattoo. The day I came back from getting it done, Ben comes in and what he does is he hands me this copy of my birth certificate. The time of birth is different than the one I was working from. So I looked it up and it turns out, I’m actually a Capricorn.
-But that’s just Western.
-I know.
-And you know about the 13th constellation, right? That’s why Western astrology is so messed up, because it doesn’t acknowledge the 13th constellation, which is the only one that depicts a human. Ophiucus, the serpent holder.
-Yah, and some of what I’ve been reading talks about them as not constellations, but as 13 frequencies of universal vibration.
-Yah, but some of the western stuff is still so fortune-y. But I look at it. I look at like 4 places, usually. I’ve got these three websites, and then the one on my phone, and I’ll look at all of them, and if I can’t find one thing in there that gives me drive or confidence it’s like I disregard it. So it’s self-serving in some way. But if there’s one that’s negative, it’s much easier to disregard. I don’t like, take that up into me.
-No but you don’t totally ignore it. right?
-No.
-Like you digest it, at least. Like as a warning.
-Right. So if it says you’re going to eat too much candy. It’s like, okay: guess I’ll put the Reese’s back.
-Yah, you notice it but you don’t hold onto it, you just see it, let it float by like clouds.
-I’m reading this book right now. Man. It’s on meditation and the way our thoughts actually shape the tissues of our mind. It’s sort of like a guided meditation, and you’re supposed to only read one chapter a week and just do those activities, that part. It’s so hard because you want to go on. But the first week is just the emptying out. Just scooping out the mind of everything, like a rind. And then the second week you begin to let things back in, you study them and let them pass, note what they are and where they land. And it’s moving gradually toward total thought control. Man, it’s so crazy. In like the fourth week, you can look at someone and burn holes in them.
-That’d be useful for my job.
-Absolutely.
-Or like, right now, I’m thinking about a sandwich. That’s not necessary…Up? We’re going up again? I thought we were through with up.
-The book’s in bullet points, mostly. Like: We are thoughts passing through the third eye of the universe. We are this. This. This. That.
-So it’s like borderline poetic.
-I’ve been doing some other research about the future of humans. Not just like, oh, 2012, how’s that going to go? But like, the collective human energy and how it might divert itself in the future. Like: what if it goes aquatic? what if it goes cyborg?
-Yeah. So actually I got human translated from the English to binary. And got that tattooed over my heart. It’s my robot takeover nametag, if you will. But more practically, it’s my reminder that I don’t have to be perfect. I’m not. But I’m a complete project, you know? If I go right now, I’m already a complete project.
